She really wants to get the school more involved with the library, in any way possible. I think the next librarian should continue this quest and expand on it. Ms. Hulten has done a wonderful job helping teachers, students, falculty, you name it she will help you no matter what. I think everyone should have this quality. The next librarian is going to have BIG shoes to fill, honestly I don't know anyone who cares more about Sheehan then Ms. Hulten. This new librarian needs to be kind, social, helpful, understanding, organized, strict but then flexiable. Its hard to describe qualities of a new librarian I have to admit. In order to be a FANTASTIC librarian you must me kind, caring,and needs to be very organized. For example, they have to be helpful so that any teacher or student who needs guidance in research or class planning will receive help. They also have to be kind so that they get along with all the library patrons. Another good quality would be a desire to enhance our school library in any way whether it be increasing the number of students who visit the library or bringing newer books to the library shelves. Organization would also be a good quality because there are so many things to keep track of in the library. The new librarian should also be well versed in other forms of media like PowerPoint or website management. The new librarian also has to be like-able because if they are not than people won't come to the library as often. I also like how tbartel added in that the next librarian needs to have a good amount of skills in the knowing of powerpoint and microsoft office and also excel.  I believe that mrs.hulten added a great new touch for her interns my making a wikispace for all of us to be informed on what we had to do and when it was do.  So i believe that the new librarian must also add new touches when ever they can.
